  • Position: Tap Room associate
Location: Heater Allen Tap Room, 907 NE 10th Ave, McMinnville, OR 97128
Hours: Part time, currently up to three shifts of 7-8 hours with potential to add more
    Compensation: $15.50/hour, plus tips

Heater Allen is a small, family-run brewery in McMinnville Oregon that specializes in traditional German and Czech style lager beers. At the end of 2022 Lisa Allen and her partner, Kevin Davey, purchased Heater Allen from Rick Allen and launched their own brand in early 2023, Gold Dot Beer, to be made at Heater Allen. Our overall goal is to make the best damn lagers we can and have a fun, supportive work environment.

We are primarily a production location that self-distributes to the greater Portland-metro area and Washington State. Late winter we *mostly* finished renovations to improve our cellar to increase and streamline production. And the tap room is next! We hope to do some minor cosmetic improvement before opening late spring and will complete a larger renovation in winter of 2024/25.

We are reopening our small tap room in mid-May and hope to be open Friday through Sunday, with potential to add more days. The tap room consists mainly of outside sitting areas, with a few tables inside. We typically have 5-8 beers on tap as well as a wine option. The Tap Room sells chips and hot dogs, and we are looking to add a Food Truck option in the future.

Ideally the best candidate for this position would be willing and able to work all three days the tap room is open, however right now we’ll take what we can get. The tap room is up and coming and can be slow some days. This position would be best for someone that can stay motivated and is okay with working by themselves.
